Scholarship Legacy Fund

About the Bloom-Vernon Scholarship Legacy Fund

For years, our school administrators discussed starting a foundation to ensure that our students will always have financial support for pursuing their education. With the increased cost of college tuition and the lack of economic development in the area, we think we can help our students by making more scholarship money available to them.On November 2004, our local school board voted unanimously to support efforts to start the foundation. The Bloom-Vernon Legacy Fund was established to provide post-secondary education scholarships for graduates of South Webster High School. By creating an endowment through the Scioto Foundation we will gain long-term financial support and management that will allow our principal dollars to remain intact.

Our Vision

The vision of the Bloom-Vernon Scholarship Legacy Fund is for all Bloom-Vernon students who pursue post-secondary education to receive financial support from our scholarship.

Our Mission

The mission of the Bloom-Vernon Scholarship Legacy Fund is to provide a lasting legacy by establishing a permanent scholarship program for our students.
