Your 7th grade boys basketball team was able to get back on track last night against the oaks. We were able to chop down the timber giants to a score of 40-19. The 1st quarter scoring was led by sam Hanes with a long 2-pointer, Caden Conley with an inside score and Elijah blake with a score off of our wonderfully designed in bounds play referred to as "meatloaf."
The 2nd quarter we were able to accelerate our pace and log rolled our way to a 19-8 halftime score. The 3rd and 4th quarter we continued to chop and split the oaks. Trae Zimmerman led all tree choppers with 9pts. Cam carpenter made light work of the oaks with 8pts, Brady blizzard with 5pts, Brady voiers and sam Hanes with 4pts and Elijah Blake, Riley cook, Gavin baker, Devin burk and Caden Conley with 2pts each. Bo puckett did a nice job at the beginning by controlling the ball and getting it where it needed to go and Dylan Collins had a few nice looks at the basket but they just didn't fall.
Our next game is Thursday at home against the oaks.
