Good morning Jeep Nation and happy Monday. We are back with some news and some information for our community. We hope everyone had a great weekend. Let’s get started.
Congratulations to our cross country teams competing on Saturday at Rio Grande at districts. Great season to all! Big shout out to Brady Blizzard coming in 3rd place at the state meet on Sunday and to his brother Mason for being 1st team all SOC. We all think that the “Winter Storm Warning” should be upgraded to “Blizzard Alert” for next cross country and track season. Thank you to our seniors Tori Canter, Kayleigh Blevins, Haley Marshall, Grace Raison, Ethan Lore, Parker Williams and Jacob McCleese for a great year!
Apparently Dave and Busters is where you eat after finishing 3rd in the state meet. That huge burger with Brady up top is called the Cave Man. Picture given to us by Tim Conley.
Soccer plays this Thursday at Waverly at 7:00 p.m. Their opponents will be Lynchburg-Clay for the District Final Championship. Good luck to our Jeeps!
Next week will be a short week for students. There will be no school for students on Thursday or Friday of next week (November 2nd and 3rd). Parent/Teacher conferences will be held on Thursday evening from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. with a teacher dinner break at 5:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
The first official day of Girls Basketball will be this Friday, October 27th. See Keek if you are interested in playing ball.
Renaissance Cards will be handed out early next week.
Elementary Parents, be on the lookout for Biddy Basketball forms to come home this week.
Prom candy bar money is due next week!
That’s all we have for now Jeep Nation. We hope you all have a great week and we will see you with our next update and as always…GO JEEPS!
