So much going on today in Jeep Nation! We love getting updates from our teachers and the classes they teach and that we are able to share with all of you. Great job to everyone involved:
Students in Mrs. Haines’s English Composition 9 class conducted research on charities. Charities ranged from local charities such as Sierra’s Haven to international charities like Sea Shepherd. Part of their project included creating a display board and presenting in a charity fair. Seniors Kelsi Montgomery, Karli Montgomery, and Taylor Rawlins as well as staff members Mr. Roberts, Mr. Sullivan, Mr. Conley, and Mrs. Howe served as presentation judges. Riley Cook’s presentation on the Wounded Warrior Project took top honors from the judges, and a donation to the charity will be made in Riley’s name.
