We want to give a shout-out to an official who went above and beyond for kids last night. Mr. Havens had an official call-off from the HS volleyball game vs. West. Mr. Havens, several assignors, and officials tried finding an official available in every place south of Columbus without any luck. Mr. Chris Hedrick, a licensed soccer and volleyball official, was already at our soccer game for the evening. Mr. Havens explained the situation to Chris, and he stepped up for our kids. As soon as the varsity soccer game was over, he changed clothes and filled in for the varsity volleyball game at our gym. Without Mr. Hedrick filling in, our volleyball team would've had to reschedule 'Senior Night'. Thank you again to Chris Hedrick from Mr. Havens, Mrs. Claxon, the South Webster volleyball team, and the community.
